Exeter based Capital Aviation and Bristol based Wings Aeromedical have announced a new joint venture product for the patient repatriation insurance industry.

The two companies have combined their many years of experience to offer a seamless solution for customers. Only one call is required to the new dedicated 24/7 helpline and we shall do the rest, co-ordinating Wings Aeromedical doctors, nurses and ground transportation resources with Capital's air ambulances.

Our aim is to bring patients home as quickly, comfortably, efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

The new product will make use of Capital's new Black Hawk Beechcraft King Air aircraft which can travel further, higher and faster than any turbo prop equivalent. This aircraft is almost as fast as jet powered air ambulances, but its operating costs are far lower. The aircraft can also accommodate up to three stretcher cases plus medical escorts.
